Jie got in to Garage Battle 2 and I got into Show Quest!!! =D Have to start practicing my song now...
Jie and I have been busy chereographing for our "Nobody" performance too...
AND the BEST thing that happened this week is....I got a new dog!!! called Tino as Lunar's new brother!!! haha literally lunar's best fren!! (my pet's name in pet society)...he's 15 months old...a Tibetan Apso Parcel...sooo cute...will upload his photos soon... heeeheee he's such a darling...and of course my dear Lunar too :)

It has been a busy but fruitful week...went for rehearsals for the International Student Club's Freshmen Orientation 09/10. Reached school at 8.30 am on wed and thurs to rehearse and edit the script with Zheng Yan, then went home to rest for an hour or so and returned back to school again at 6pm all the way till 11pm (due to last minute changes, ZY and I had to re-edit the script again).
Then came the actual event on friday, which started at 8am... I started to get more nervous by the minute...especially during the arrival of the Principal and the distinguished guests. Nonetheless, everything went rather smoothly despite some plurks here and there...and yea, it was definitely a GREAT eye-opener and learning experience!!! so fun :)
then helped out for Sing Out Quarter Finals on sat...as I was filming the competition, I found a frog sitting on the fake pink flower floating on top of the pond staring right up at me for the whole entire event!!! OMG!!! It sure was scary...It gave me the creeps for the next few days even up till now...yikes!!!
Then I hosted the competition on Sunday with Collin...everything went smoothly and according to schedule...hosted in Mandarin and English...very fun too!!! ok...now I'm getting to love hosting more and more now :). then we went to the clubroom to do some filming for the comperes promotional video...It was super crowded inside...more than enough manpower thus we were super free...and we just sat there and watched Aaron and the rest film the video haha...then I left early to join Mummy and Jie for lunch.
so ya, school has started again...everything's fine so far except for this morning's "unusual incident"...haha mateys will know what I mean...

Heehee...yay I got my first choice for Gems!!! Psychology and Councelling class on Wed!!! and now shifu will officially be my "double" classmate (we can quarrel on her "fullstops" over msn during class le haha)...Hope that mimi, xiao mei and gina can be in the same class as us; that'll be great!!!
Anyway, had fun this week. Guitar lessons were fun...AND the best thing is I got my classical guitar!!! Jie got her acoustic guitar :) and so...we proceeded to learn 《不能说的秘密〉by Jay Chou!!! (ok the original key is too high for me to sing---male key---nonetheless the song's good
to learn for the 'strum' part)...learnt A minor, F, plucking and tuning the guitar too. I really need to start practising these more diligently alr...lagging behind now.
Stayed at Edward's Chalet that day. NSRCC. It's newly renovated and well-furnished. Very nice bungalow cornered by Glass doors with minimal walls...lots of facilities to enjoy to...What's best is the chalet is just next to the Changi Coast beach...it's great to stay near nature!!! Watched some DVDs there- the thriller movie by Johnny Depp was best....can't remember the title of the movie though :P haha then ate spagetti cooked by Giselle and Cheese omellette sandwich made by Jasmine the next morning...I must definitely go back there some day...maybe book the chalet to celebrate mummy's birthday :D
Currently committed to host for the International Student Club's freshman orientation event on the 17th...have to go for rehearsals too on the 15th and 16th...looking forward to it!!! :)
Will be going to the meeting for the SP Cultura show tomorrow...excited for the performance in June (tentatively) but a little stressed out too - we haven't settled the dance chereo for the song "Nobody" yet!!! hmm...have to get to work now...no more slacking...

This year's Sing Out '09 targets at both the
ADULT Category and OPEN Category,
the search for the BEST VOCALIST and PERFORMER in Singapore.
All FINALISTS will have the opportunity to be COACHED PERSONALLY

Last year's Grand Finals was held at DBS Auditorium with a total of
more than 20 performers from Music Story, 16 Finalists and 500 Audience.
This year's Grand Finals will be organised at a much larger scale
and we currently already have cash and prizes totaling up to $5000!
We have 2 Categories:
ADULT - 13 -39 years old
OPEN - 40 & above
PRIZES for both Adult & Open Category
1st - $2000 cash & prizes
2nd- $1500 cash & prizes

My 'Come-back' post
haha finally decided to start blogging :) hmm...where shall I start?
Okie...been enjoying the holidays so far...went for a few rounds of shopping, movies, KTV and parties with some cool ppl :)
Haha gotten some blisters while shopping in heels (Mimi's great idea heehee :P) and experienced some thrilling moments like sneaking into a M18 thriller called 'My Bloody Valentine' with Little Diva :). Went to watch 'Push' with mummy and jie too...hmmm the 'pushers' are scary people...they have the ability to plant thoughts into people's minds in order to manipulate them. I wonder how the world will be like if these people with special abilities really exists...hmm scary :(
Recently found a cool place to chill...it's a cafe at chinatown...forgot the name...anyway it's along Food Street. They have live performances there with good food and a very cosy ambience...especially the room on the 3rd level...there's even a mini Aungklung set and Guitar for us to play!!! cool right? Jie, Afiq and Zupeng did a 'spur of the moment' performance too haha. Great fun...hmm shall go there again :)
Anyway, Jie and I performed at Singapore Khalsa Association some time back. It was great fun!!! Haha and I'm quite pleased with our performance that day. It was scary though, performing in front of 1100 people...Nevertheless, it was a great experience :) oh ya, and I earned my first pay too...$40 bucks yay!!! haha
Joined a singing competition too...hmm still waiting for results...
Oh ya and I went for Cultura auditions too with Jie...it's a show organised by SP Student Exchange Club to be held in May...haha Alan asked us to perform a Korean song called 'Nobody' by the Wondergirls. It's quite a catchy song i must say...a good song pick. Then we started learning the song...I fell in love with the song immediately haha. EXCEPT the rap part which I'm supposed to do...part of the rap is in Korean and it's so fast then I can't catch it...hais...shall try harder...and ya now we're cheorographing the dance for the song too...hopefully we can get everything settled asap :)
Joined a Sing and Strum guitar class recently...So far we've learnt the C,G and D chords...and now we're trying to sing and strum to Zhang Hui Mei's <原来你什么都不想要>. It's fun playing the guitar...minus the blisters on my fingers :( Realised that the Guitar is actually easier to learn than the Piano (yes,I gave that up for the 2nd time =[ ), Organ and Guzheng. Planning to buy a classical and an acoustic guitar soon so that we can practice at home. yay!!!
Did some comperes duty too for the enrolment period...learnt a lot from friends and seniors...good learning experience :) Comperes camp coming in 2 days time.
And with that, we've come to the end of my 'come-back' post!!! *Applause**Applause* haha now Shifu and Ah Ma the old couple who refused to give me my AngPao will not threaten to remove me from their links already :) Heehee :P

Twilight-ing
wow it's been a long time since i updated my bloggie...been very lazy nowadays... thou shalt update some other day haha...anyway watched Twilight today....omg i totally fell in love with it...as well as Robert Pattinson aka Edward Cullen haha :) the cast were great too...esp the male and female lead...Robert Pattinson was like totally vampire-looking la esp with his eyes...haha this film is definitely gonna make it big...an aspiring successor of the Harry Potter movies...
So my New Year's resolution for 2009 shall therefore be completing the Twilight novel series!!! All of them!!! haha
